Once you have missed a payment the lender is not your friend. Missed payments equal more money for the lender. The more the lender gets, the happier he is. The best way for the lender to get more money out of you is to increase your monthly payment through accrued interest from late payments or missed payments, late fees and penalties. It is a real money maker for the lender. This has always been a fact and all homeowners know it and accept it.
Where the problem currently lies is that the homeowner has been led to believe by both government campaigns and lender lies that the lender is actually going to help him – the homeowner, who has fallen behind. The lender is not going to help you – unless there’s money to be made in it for him. Enough money to make it worth his while – and that means he will actually pretend to help you. In fact, the lender will just string you along with false promises and pretenses for months and months and months, finally you’ll end up in foreclosure and possibly lose your home to public auction.
You, the homeowner have always been nothing more than a loan number to the lending institutions. Sadly, that’s all you’ll ever be. They’re not particularly moved by the fact that your child has special needs, or your mother needs extra care. They don’t really care that your spouse lost their job, or that the home has been in your family for six generations. In fact they have no interest in any of the aspects of your life. The equation is simple: Your money or your home.
What matters is that your loan number has fallen behind and now you are on the very-profitable-for-the-lender road to foreclosure. Soon they will either get a large, normally uncontested “chunk of change” from you-who-represents-your-loan-number, or they’ll get your house – which secures your loan number.
Sure, they have seemingly courteous people on the phone (well some of them do, others use call centers in India or hire brutes to scare, manipulate and threaten you), all who say “stop making your payment and we’ll get you a loan mod,” or “we can’t help you until you are three payments behind,” or we have you in the system for a loan mod, now it will take only 4 months to get you a mod (of course it actually turns out to be 13 to 18 months because they are always losing your paperwork).
Why does a process as simple as a loan mod take so long? Because every missed payment is more money for the lender. Did you know that almost half the homeowners manage somehow to cure their default amount to prevent foreclosure from starting? Sure, but they wiped out every financial resource the homeowner had, and once again, he can’t make his monthly payment!
The homeowner is back in default and on the road to foreclosure in no time at all. Meanwhile the lender made a nice sum and gets to go for round two. The only route left to save the home is bankruptcy – most homeowners think—so they destroy the rest of their credit and dignity in a last ditch effort to save their home. It bought them a bit of time, but it seems the lender still gets the home in the end.
What started all this? Rather, who started all this? It was the lenders themselves. That’s correct, they gave you loans designed to fail. They’ve made billions of dollars at your expense. That’s why it is predatory lending and predatory servicing. Since the day you got your loan you have been preyed upon. You have been told that this is “all your fault,” and the government has “tried to comfort you” with promises of help through President Obama’s HAMP program. That, of course we all know now, is just a great big joke. Most people only give money to the lender for months on end, while none of it goes to their loan, then they get disapproved and foreclosed upon.
And it seems to so many homeowners that everybody is in on their pain for the lender’s gain. Attorney’s won’t take on the homeowner and fight for him when the lender will pay him well to foreclose. Judges don’t really want their courtrooms clogged up with foreclosure cases, so warehouse them through. Lenders ‘warn” homeowners not to get professional help, ‘cuz, well you know, “the lender will help you for free”, yah, sure we all know that lie by now. And saddest of all: politicians are passing laws that prevent homeowners from hiring professionals to help them get their loans modified!
But there is hope, and there is help. Rockingham Associates is there for the homeowner. They conduct forensic loan reviews which reveal all the violations in the loan the lender gave you. They conduct predatory servicing investigations, which reveal all the predatory acts the servicer has committed against you. They use those investigations as the springboard to getting you successful negotiations. Lenders suddenly would rather modify your loan, than deal with investigations.
Homeowners don’t have to stand alone, they don’t have to be abused and preyed upon. They just need a professional on their side and that would be the good people at Rockingham Associates. Visit their website at www.rockinghamassoc.com to learn more about this company and what they can do for you. They are busy rekindling the American Dream. Their goal is to get you complete financial recovery. Consider contacting one of their representatives to begin to unravel your financial dilemmas.
Thousands of people are losing their homes to foreclosure or filing bankruptcy to prevent the loss of their home through foreclosure every month. In fact, recent reports from industry insiders are claiming that there are more than 7,000 bankruptcies being filed each day, while some have projected that big banks like BofA and Wells Fargo could be releasing as many as 25,000 homes to foreclosure proceedings by December of 2010.In many instances homeowners have been led down a not-so-merry path, often being told that their home is under review for a loan mod, which inevitably is denied, as a foreclosure auction date is sent to the homeowner.
The Obama plan (HAMP program) has taken hit after hit for failing to actually save homes. In a recent news article put out by the Huffington Post, entitled Extend and Pretend: The Obama Administration's Failed Foreclosure Program, the Obama Plan is described as doing nothing more than putting off foreclosures, allowing the banks to appear financially healthy because they can carry the full value of the loan, and not record any loss.
This has been identified as a stabilizing act for banks and the housing market, but not for homeowners. They are left for months, even years wondering if they will lose their homes to foreclosure, when the sheriff will come knocking on their door, or if they will have to destroy the rest of their already distressed credit by filing a bankruptcy.
Rockingham Associates is a company that investigates loans and investigates lenders.Borrowers have federally protected rights.Rockingham Associates has a long history of helping borrowers gain an advantage through investigative techniques.
People with predatory loans normally end up with predatory servicers. The banks are doing what is best for the banks, which has always been the case. But this time in an effort to save their own bottom lines they have betrayed the American public, strung them along, taken money from them under false pretenses and finally taken their homes.
Homeowners who are seeing what the banks are really up to contact Rockingham in record numbers to get their lenders and their loans investigated. They use the results of these investigations to show the bank that there are laws which have been broken by the banks.
The Obama Plan was all about giving the lenders “incentives” to work with homeowners.Incentives don’t seem to work with the lenders. They’ll toss people who don’t even qualify for the HAMP program into the program, and then extract payment from them month after month after month, even though the program only required three payments during the trial phase. Then they tell them they don’t qualify, and complete or start foreclosure. The government paid them to do this.Sadly the Government continues to allow this predatory servicing to continue unchecked as the foreclosure statistics rise month after month.
What does work?Predatory Servicers seem to respond best to the force of the laws that protect homeowners or borrowers.Sadly, they spend their time threatening and abusing homeowners preying upon the homeowners fear of loss, while then doing a 180, and becoming the homeowners “best friend”.It seems when you start showing the lender “the goods”, he then realizes that you did qualify for a loan mod after all.
If you are tired of being a victim of your predatory lender, and tired of being lied to, and you truly think that you should be able to save your home, then you should consider contacting the people at Rockingham Associates. They are the experts who save homes.
Consider contacting one of their representatives to begin to unravel your financial dilemmas.Visit their website at www.rockinghamassoc.com .
Why is it that sub par teams can make the playoffs? If we were in the Eastern Division, we would be in last place. But here we are in second and going to the play-offs. I think it is time to rethink the ground rules for playoff teams. Actually for all sports this should be done. In the NBA, everyone goes to the playoofs except for the Clippers.
I am really looking forward to tomorrow's game! The only game we've missed this year was the Tulsa game in June, so this will be my first look at this "new" team. I fully expect a great game, and a Mercury win!! Either way, it's just so much fun to go and cheer! It's no secret, I am a HUGE Dupree fan, and have been very supportive and positive about her coming to Phoenix. It's nice to see that others are 'catching on' to how great she is on the court, and what a wonderful, genuine and classy person she is on and off the court. Watching her settle in to this system, and hit that shot to send the Seattle game into OT was just amazing! I have also noticed that the cheers for her are louder with each game when her name is announced! I know she hears it too :-). I think the Mercury will head into the playoffs full steam ahead! The last 3 games have been awesome, and honestly, the Mercury could/should have really won that game against Seattle...again, some questionable 'no calls' and a shot or two that didn't fall...oh well...it's proof that the Mercury team beaten badly by Seattle early in the year, is not this team! See you all at the game tomorrow!! Go CD 4, Go Mercury!!!
Well if you missed the Mercury vs. Liberty game on Friday you missed a good one. Much anticipated return of Cappie Pondexter had the crowd energized and excited. With much support for Cappie during the Championship ring presentation it was safe to say at that point that the fans were excited to see Cappie on the court once again. With that said.....
As the game started and continued through the first half it was easy to see that Cappie was back to make a point of some sorts. She was definately on a roll keeping the Liberty within a couple of points. She was hitting outside shots, driving in, on top of causing the Mercury to foul her. She was doing it all. Sitting in the arena I wasnt sure if I should cheer for Cappie everytime she scored. I was torn between rooting for a past-Mercury player or holding firm to my allegiance to the Mercury. So, I clapped a couple of times upon her scoring. Feeling a bit guilty and once I saw that she was the main threat to the Mercury that night, I stopped quickly. The Mercury came out from tipoff with one goal in mind.....to take control of the game and keep it! That was obvious to see. Everyone contributed in one way or another. Taurasi seemed a bit "off" in the first half getting called for offensive fouls as well as missing some fairly routine shots for her. (I know, we expect her to do it all) Anyways, the Mercury held their own going into halftime and the energy on the court was high. Tangela Smith got into an early groove hitting 3's like nothing. It was awesome. She has her confidence back for sure.
The second half of the game proved itself to be of much intensity and energy. Alot of body contact and a fast paced game of which is an advantage to the Mercury. Then finally it happens.....A hard foul to Penny Taylor, her reaction, and we got ourselves a bit of a "girl fight". Not that I am a fan of "girl fights" but I was the one in the crowd yelling "FINALLY"!!. Finally, the emotion, the intensity, the missing link that I have wrote about before was HERE!! I have to tell you, I liked it. It was good to see a reaction from a Mercury player, even though it might have not been the "right" way to react, atleast it was a reaction. I will take it. Fair to say, after this incident the Mercury were charged up even more and with the ejection of Cappie Pondexter the Mercury were unstopable. It might be also fair to say that if Cappie had not been ejected this game could have gone either way atleast in my opionion. I am glad the Mercury won, they needed it. I am glad Cappie was back in town, they needed it. I have said before that Cappie has an exteme energy on the court and it was visible in this game. I think the Mercury players knew that with Cappie back on the court even as the opponent, they had to bring their"A" game and they did. So, we thank Cappie for coming back to Phoenix. It was a good game and I am glad I was there to see it.
As the Mercury take on the Sparks tonight we can only hope that they will continue to keep the energy level at its highest. Despite the Sparks record, DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE this team. Sure the Mercury are a better all around team but again, they have to bring their "A" game again tonight.
Much love to the Mercury team. Good luck, keep the winning streak going and lets remind LA who the Champions in this league are.
What happened last night? What turned Cappie around so bad that she felt the need to become a street thug. This is a game. For her to take Penny out like that and to get DT was totally uncalled for. My first reaction was to have her arrested for assult. This was out of the scope of the game and was felony assult. Basketball is suppose to be a non-contact sport.
To the league, I recommend that Cappie be suspended for the rest of the season and take some anger management courses.
Just some thoughts about this season, and being a fan. This is a tough year so far for the Mercury, no doubt about it, but what better time to show our support? I've seen people on websites, facebook, and here, who claim to be fans, but do nothing but complain and criticize. I have heard the argument that this is part of being a fan..and a way to show how much they 'care', their passion, but I don't buy that. It seems to be more a sense of entitlement. Certainly, we have ample reason to have become spoiled by the great success of our team over the past few years, but let's remember that it is incredibly difficult to win consistently in a league that just gets better and more even each year.
These ladies give their all, their hearts and bodies to this game. I can't imagine what true fan would not see this. As for this tired issue of the big trade...can we please for once and all, let this go? It's been well documented that Cappie demanded a trade, and if she didn't get it, threatened to sit out the year (how would we be doing now with her sitting on the roster, and no Dupree?) the team tried to persuade her, Corey flew overseas to try and persuade her to stay, and you know her teammates did the same. The end result? She demnaded to be traded. The management did what they could, and ended up with a three time all-star, and one of the best players in the league. Yet, some fans are still whining about this, questioning the trade, and longing for the return of Cappie? Wow, leaves me speechless. Instead, how about dealing with the reality that this 2010 team is our team, and yes, it's a new look, a new twist on the system, and that takes time to adjust to by everyone involved. Add to this mix the ineveitible "Championship Hangover", the elevated play of the league in general, and it's no mystery why this is such a difficult start to the season.
Now is the time to stop the "arm chair quarterbacking" to borrow from my other sport, and start cheering louder, showing our love and support, and lifting this team up! I have always been impressed with the X-Factor, even when I used to visit here as a Sparks fan. The X-Factor, the Mercury fans are well known as some of the, if not THEE best fans in the WNBA. It's time to earn that rep back outside of the U.S. Airways Center, on the net. I for one will be a proud X-Factor member, as always, cheering loud and long, and coming to every game win or lose. I love this team, and it will not matter, in the end what the W/L columns look like. I will still love and support this team! Of course I believe they will turn it around and do some damage in the playoffs. I do have faith! Heal quickly DT, everyone hopes you are well and healthy! Go Mercury!
As the Phoenix Mercury stuggle to find their groove this season it might be safe to say that their groove is gone! Game after game the Mercury try to find that missing link that can get them a win. Of course, being the WNBA defending champs they bring a bit of attitude to their game but who wouldnt? On the flip side, every other teams wants to beat you. The Mercury is the team to beat. And as we all know, they are beatable. So whats up? Why so different this season? Two words: Cappie Pondexter! Despite the reasons for her leaving wheather personal or professional those have to be put aside. We have to deal with the here and now. My question is this......Did the Mercury organization do enough to try to keep her? Even though CP might have WANTED to leave Phoenix, what was done to convince her otherwise. Tough to say but obviously not enough. Losing Cappie is tough to swallow only because she brought an extreme amount of energy to the court every single time. Not only to pump herself up but the rest of the players as well. She was explosive off the fast break and played with passion and emotion. I was able to attend a home game about a week ago and was so disappointed to see half of the lower level seating vacant. The people who did show up to watch the game were as loud as ever and cheered on the Mercury the entire night. As I sat and watched the game a thought occured to me many times, "what is so different this season"? "What is missing"? It didnt take long to realize what is was. Two words: Cappie Pondexter. Not to take anything away from the current Mercury team but its not very often when you get a person who can play the game and entertain as well. Thats what fans want to see. They want to see the player who show their emotions while playing, the player who can energize the bench and an entire arena. That little piece of energy, that little piece of emotion, that little piece of passion is what is missing from the Phoenix Mercury this season. That little piece made a difference. As the Mercury season continues the New York Liberty will be comming to town and I will bet that US AIrways Arena will be packed. I will bet that the energy in that place is gonna be roaring. I will bet that the fans came to see Cappie.
The Mercury will continue to press on and continue to strive to win. Afterall they are all competitors after one goal. Continue to support them as I continue to do.
If you dont think that one person can make a difference, think again.
Well, it's never fun to lose, and I'm sure the Mercury are as frustrated as they look, but, there were some great moments and extremely positive signs in both losses this past weekend. The San Antonio game was truly a toss up, that could have gone either way right down to the wire. Really a great game for the Mercury. It really showed how much they have gelled and trust each other. The system is working, and the wins will come. I still think the West is the toughest conference, all beating each other up. As far as the Connecticut game..well, that comeback from 21 down was amazing! It showed the mental toughness that will get the Mercury through. I for one am encouraged and still excited to experience the rest of this season! As for my girl CD4...WOW! I've always been impressed, but am extra impressed now that she has settled into this system, got her legs under her, and fitting in beautifully! I sure hope the voting went the way it should have, with many of our starters so deserving of All Star status! Go Mercury!
So last night I am sitting there watching the game and I notice that the Lynx have 6 people on the court most of the night. Now if this were any other sport, there would be fouls called, but not in women's basketball. Since when is it okay for the coach to walk on the court during play? In my day, that was a technical foul. Why have the refs taken to not calling it? There is enough room for the coach to walk back and forth without getting on the court. I say start calling this.
Hey Mercury fans, I'm new on here. Just wanted to post some thoughts about the upcoming season. My friends and I were SUPER excited to hear that Candice Dupree was joining the team in the off season. We have been huge fans of hers and followed her career in Chi town. Now, we get to see her every home game! This was a dream come true! To add to our excitement, we have been fortunate enough to meet her twice now. First time was at a function organized by the Merc..and that was cool because we got to meet and chat very briefly with each player. Almost every player seemed genuinely happy to be there and excited about the season. Some, of course were more outgoing than others, but everyone was nice, as they usually are, especially DT :-) LOVE her!
The second time we met Candice however, was even better because we just happened to be at the same resteraunt in Phx. She was incredibly gracious and generous with her time, taking the time to chat and take pics with us. We also told her again how happy we were that she was here in Phoenix, to which she responded, "Thanks I'm so happy to be here!" Now this was not an organized or pre-scripted event, it was just a classy woman, being real, and taking time out with some fans. It's so refreshing to meet a pro athlete who is humble, sweet and funny. She even expressed her desire to play better! Wow. We have no doubt, and relayed this to her, that once she learns the system and has a chance to "gel" with her new teammies...she will be more than fine! She is a great additon to an already great team So excited for the rest of the season to unfold! Go Mercury! Go Dupree!!
Been here rumors that Cappie wanted out of here and simply stated that if she were forced to stay here, she would sit on the bench the entire season. She wanted to go to New York to play and work. So what ever happened to honoring one's contract? You want to do something and so you force the team to trade you so you can get what you want? That sounds very childlike. Guess all sport players are getting big heads these days. At least we are not hearing of any of the women players cheating on their spouses.
The Suns are up & Down right now, but I hope in the end we will go the distance to the playoffs.
As for the Merc. Its so fun to read tweets from @tgotnext, @cappa23 & @deebonner24! They sound like they are having a great time overseas. From what I have heard though, they are really looking forward to getting back to the AZ and getting the WNBA season started.
I am really excited that Corey Gaines has been signed for the 2010 season. I am a proud supporter of his style.
I heard a rumor that there will be a major cut to the coaching staff though. Not sure if it is true but supposedly, to same money there will be only one Assistant coach on WNBA teams.
I am not going to voice my opinion, but I think we all know that us fans will have a fit if a certain ex player does not remain on staff.
Well thats all folks! I hope everyone is as excited for May 15th against the LA Sparks as I am.
Anyhow, hey just wanted to say a HUGE THANK YOU to the Phx. Mercury marketing staff for hosting a locker room tour/Pizza party last night at the arena. We were lucky enough to tour behind the scenes at US Airways which included the Suns locker room and the Mercury locker room.
Suns locker room was STATE OF THE ART to say the least. Top notch with everything. Very cool to see what is normally off limits to the general public. Jacuzzi's, yes more than one, a huge shower room, HUGE flat panel tv and so on.....no expense spared!
The Mercury locker room resembled ummmmm lets seeeee here..........a high school locker room. Nothing fancy at all. Very basic! No fancy........ANYTHING. I was stunned. So much so that I put my camera back in my pocket and refused to take pictures to share over the internet. For embarassement reasons. Wow!! I could not believe that OUR CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM was being held to these standards. It was sad. Very Very sad. Simple folding chairs are placed in front of each locker, some with rips in them. It was a basic square locker room that you would find in a school. I dont know how else to describe it.
I felt a deep sadness that the Mercury organization feel that its ok for a CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM to be held at these standards. I hope that someone with "POWER" realizes that the ladies of the Phx. Mercury deserve better quality than what they are provided with now. How about some new chairs, quality lockers(if you need any ideas....just walk down the hall). How about providing them with a locker room that they can be proud of not embarrased of. The players of the Mercury leave their blood, sweat, and tears on the court everynight they play....the least you could do is provide them with a locker room that provides comfort and says THANK YOU for what they do well......WIN!!
I was glad like I said earlier to have been able to take this tour and to see what so few do. I realize now, somethings are better left unknown.
I was just wondering -- why isn't there a thing to see on the WNBA sites, or the Phoenix blogs, about the recent assassination of Shabtai von Kalmanovic, owner of Spartak Moscow? So many WNBA players will be affected by this in terms of cancelled games, reductions in compensation packages, and possible trades to other teams on the European continent. I'm thinking here of Diana Taurasi as well as erstwhile Mercury player Kelly (of Coco and Kelly twin fame). Aren't there heartfelt condolences to convey? Aren't there people who want to reach out? Mr. von Kalmanovic may have been an old-school misogynist in terms of sexualizing and sometimes infantalizing his professional women's players, but his heart was shown through his care-taking by using his pocketbook and his connections on behalf of his Spartak team. They lived as royalty, and rightly so. We should take care of our professional women's players so well here in the US! My heart goes out to all -- an era has passed!
And now as we all have shared in the celebration of winning the WNBA 2009 Championship, I find myself with alot of time on my hands. With devoting my evenings to either being at a Mercury game or watching them on TV, the last few weeks of my life had been rearranged to accommodate game start times. At some point I thought my home was "Fan Headquarters" for the Phx. Mercury. Newspaper articles, posters, big purple spongy #1 fingers and anything else my 13yr. old stepdaughter could find we had!! For some reason or another it seemed like we could relate to the ladies of the Phx. Merucry. Or maybe they made it clear that they could relate to us. Whatever the reason, we as fans connected with them. Connected with them more than just being fans. We knew all about them and yes, they even knew some of our names. As with so many professional athletes they seem "out of reach" to us fans. No way, never gonna happen that you are going to be able to have a conversation during shoot around with a NBA player or be able to get on the field to snap photos of your favorite NFL player. It just doesnt happen, its not allowed. So why is it that with our Mercury ladies its exactly what takes place!! They stop to take pictures with us and our kids, they stop to give autographs and share a few words. These gestures are what makes them "REAL" to us and that is why we connected with them. I have seen first hand the humbleness that these ladies carry with them. It is nothing less than knowing where they are now is a gift in time and should be consumed with greatfullness and thanks.
Now that the season has ended and the ladies of the Phx. Mercury go there seperate ways, we can only offer them much more success in their next journey. I'm sure we will continue to support them and follow them on Twitter and Facebook.
And so now fans, we are left with only one thing to look foward too----------> 010 as Cappie says!!
What a great ride it was. Thank you Mercury ladies for playing with your hearts but more importantly sharing them with us fans.
And so it is written....what make them champions to us goes far beyond the banner and the trophy!!
If you didn't before, I'd be willing to bet you do now.
When I say 'magic', I'm not talking about making things disappear, over-the-top illusions, or pulling a rabbit out of a hat. I'm talking about the type of magic that cannot ever accurately be described in words. Rather, it's a subconscious awareness that even for a few small moments, absolutely everything is right in the world.
It's a type of euphoria where everything just feels good; there's really no better way to describe it. Any existential worries in other areas of one's life seemingly are lifted away in an instant, and a very real cognizance of joy and exuberance occurs that some individuals may only be privy to a couple of times throughout their lives.
An entire season of hard work and dedication culminated with one of these rare moments Friday night as the Mercury were crowned 2009 WNBA Champions; and for a few moments, we were fortunate enough to witness multiple levels of real magic.
As soon as you entered the arena Friday night, there was a palpable feeling of electricity; one of those few experiences in professional sports where you just knew it was going to be a night to remember. Almost 18,000 fans filed into US Airways Center in support of not just the Mercury, but the WNBA and women's basketball in general. It was the most attended Finals in league history, a 43.3% increase from last season, and garnered double-digit growth for ESPN2's coverage of the WNBA Finals (an average of 522,000 viewers - an increase of 66% over last year). This type of support for the league is unprecedented and shows a paradigm shift in respect and admiration for these phenomenal athletes that they've long deserved.
In the end, it becomes increasingly difficult to solidify a single point in this season as "greater" than another. Obviously winning the Championship will stand out, but the 2009 season was comprised of dozens of lesser-known, equally as meaningful episodes involving the collective team. It was never about a single player or individual recognition. Here are a few memories that should stand out.
The immediate impact of rookie DeWanna Bonner - a double-double in her first WNBA game
Temeka Johnson's leadership on the court, and her game-winning shot in Sacramento
Ketia Swanier, Nicole Ohlde, Kelly Mazzante, and Brooke Smith comprising the deepest bench in the league
The legendary return of Penny Taylor, and her immeasurable significance to the team's success
Tangela Smith's two momentum saving three-pointers in game 5
Le'coe Willingham's career year and toughness
Cappie Pondexter's inspiring play all season long, and command of the game
Diana Taurasi - the MVP's, the heart, the intensity, and the passion
While words fail to label the true sense of bliss that was evident Friday night, the expressions of the players, coaches, organization, and fans capture it best. Seeing the genuine out-pouring of emotions from the team whether it was tears of joy, a smile from ear to ear, or a celebratory hug from teammate to teammate undeniably manifested what true magic really is.
I must admit that I have been rough on DT for the drinking and driving. However I must commend the entire team for a fanstic series. I caught the two games of the first series but had to bow out of the rest due to the noise in the stadium. The music(?) was way too loud. I love the fans yelling but not the other noise. I did come back for the final game and really did have the time of my life. Having Penny back really jelled the team. Management, sign her now!
With the rumors going sround that the Sparks did not meet payroll and other teams saying that they were hurting, it makes me wonder if the game will go the way of the Women's Scoccer teams that folded in the middle of the playoffs. More fans need to come out and support a winning team, and not just when they can get free tickets.
there were many ups and downs this season, mostly ups but the downs were deffinetly downs. all i can say is im very proud of diana and her drive to stay focused on what mattrd most to her. she has a long road ahead but she knows all of us are behind her, temates farns the wnba all of us. everybody that wears that PHX uniform contributed to this championship and boy what a win.
