I didn't realize Ohlde's wrist was fractured until the day before the game. She's not having the best season so far and maybe that's because she came into the season injured. Hopefully in 3 weeks she will get it together because we are going to need her in the post. Also, I personally feel like Mazz could play better. I know shooters get into a slump, but the games I've watched, she's not moving her feet on defense and she reaches in and picks up a lot of fouls. She needs to get in the gym during the All-Star break and get up some shots. I think we'll be okay in the 2nd half of the season. GO MERCURY!!!!!

We didn't lose because we didn't have Dee.  We lost because of who we DID have.  We were down to an 8-woman roster and needed every one of them to be ready to play.  Doesn't Kelly M. know that her role on the team is to SHOOT?  ONE attempt in the entire game is just not acceptable!  And, is Brooke really the best we can find at her position?  She strikes me as a sweet girl, but there are some very credible players who are currently unemployed.  Minnesota picked up Humphrey this week!  And, Captain Obvious:  Ohlde is clearly made of glass.  In my opinion, we paid way too much for her to get a "big."  Lindsay Taylor, a much bigger big, attends every game and would love to play.  She's spent 4 yeara overseas improving her game.  She certainly can't contribute less than Ohlde, who is contributing nothing.
